When you store a promotional code on your subscription, you are adding the code to our system, such that, the next time our system charges you for that subscription, it will try to apply the promotional code.

You can apply a promo code to a subscription following these steps.

However, the fact that a promo code is stored in your subscription does not mean that the promotional code is guaranteed to apply. Many promotional codes have certain usage restrictions which limit their application to certain meal plans (6 meals vs. 9 meals vs. 12 meals) and/or limit their usage to one application per user/account. It's possible you enter a valid promotional code on your subscription, but, for various reasons, the promotion cannot apply due to the plan you have or due to the fact that you used the code on a previous order.
