Freshly meals are made in facilities that handle 8 out of the 9 major food allergens: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, soy, wheat/gluten, and sesame. Our facilities do not store or handle any peanuts.
You can click on any meal listed on our site to check the ingredients & allergen statements and locate any possible allergens. Meals made in kitchens that handle major allergens will be labeled accordingly. This info is listed on the physical label of the meal too.
Our chefs follow industry best practices to avoid cross-contact and are required to keep allergen-containing ingredients separated, covered, and labeled. All cooking equipment and tools must be fully sanitized, and all employees must sanitize and change uniforms before and after cooking with these ingredients. However, we don't prepare meals containing allergenic ingredients on unique lines or with unique utensils.
For your peace of mind, all of our gluten-free meals follow these strict procedures and meet the stringent FDA requirement: to contain less than 20 parts per million of gluten.
Please note: We always recommend people with severe allergies consult their physician or nutritionist to determine if we’re the best fit for their specific needs.
